Art Program

Art classes are provided for all students in grades K-12.  High school courses are electives. Students have opportunities to create in a respective arts discipline in classroom experiences, discuss the art being studied and evaluate their works and the work of others.  the approach helps students develop and articulate personal arts philosophies - thinking they carry for a lifetime.

Art work is displayed in building hallways and offices.  Individual schools hold art shows in community venues and local libraries.

“I’ve always had art in school. I think it’s taught me more than just how to draw a human face. It’s taught me lessons I can use for life.”
