Thursday meetings to allow public input on mascots
CEO Krish Mohip has set two meetings Thursday,  July 27, to allow the public to offer input about the high school mascots. A 5 p.m. July 27 meeting is planned at East High School, 474 Bennington Ave., followed by a 7 p.m. meeting that same day at Chaney High School, 731 S. Hazelwood. With the return to two traditional high schools in the school district with sports teams at each, CEO Mohip believes it's appropriate to learn what the community thinks about each school's mascot. Thursday's meetings also will allow members of the community to voice their views on Mohip's first year in office.
