SESSION #4: THE ART OF PARENTING IN THIS CRAZY WORLD!
(Facilitated by William Guy Burney) This 5 series sessions on social emotional learning will focus on achievement, grit, mental health, overcoming trauma, fatherhood, conflict management, and helping kids stop violence.

Being a parent is hugely rewarding, but it's also hard work.  Parenting or child-rearing promotes and supports the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.  The explosion of information make it hard to parent. The art of parenting comes from learning about ourselves while we are learning about our children. In being aware and present, we learn from our children and in turn are able to guide them in their growth and development. When we know who we are, we can help our children understand who they are.
